SulCom Programs

This is the place to be for any downloads (or hints to extract site content) for supporting the SulCom programs.

Downloads are available in their native format and in Adobe pdf format by downloading as needed from this site.  However if the native files are desired and are not available on this site, please e-mail us with your needs.

Copying/Extracting Site Content

As can be seen this site is pretty plain; there are not a lot of pretty pictures, full motion videos, etc.  There are plenty of other sites to get that material.  The site design was intended for SulCom field teams to grab content as needed and place into their program documentation with little or no editing needed.  This promotes the premise that all SulCom field teams should be working from the same base documentation.

Those who are familiar with cut, copy and paste will easily be able to handle extracting needed text from the site.  For Windows users just highlight what is needed, use the keyboard (Ctrl-C) or mouse (Right-Click, then select “Copy” from the menu.)  Mac and Linux users know their routines but if someone has those please pass them along to the webmaster.

Pasting the text to the final location is just as easy; Windows users just left-click the location of the desired destination in the item requiring the extracted text and either use the keyboard (Ctrl-V) or mouse (Right-Click, then select “Paste” from the menu.)  Again, Mac and Linux users know their routines but if someone has those please pass them along to the webmaster.

NOTE

Extraction of site content can be used by SulCom field teams for SulCom team program documentation development at any time.  Others who wish to extract material from this site require permission from the SulCom webmaster.

Field Report Spreadsheet Template

All SulCom programs use this template in one way or another to commingle individual field reports into a single file that can be e-mailed as needed.

This template was developed and saved as a Microsoft Excel Template (xlt) file.  However, the template was developed with as few intricacies as possible so it can be used by other spreadsheet applications.  It has been used successfully in OpenOffice 3.0 with no issues.

Download the template here.

Logsheet Template

This sheet (Page 1 is a blank sheet and Page 2 is a sample) is similar to the one used at Sullivan Weather for recording staff changes, quarter-hour updates and other pertinent items during support of incidents.  Stick and paper is used for maintaining continuity but documentation is archived electronically after the incident support activity is complete.  Over time documentation standards at Sullivan Weather will be moved to standard ICS forms where applicable.

All SulCom field teams should be documenting their activities while supporting SulCom programs.

Convective Weather Program Report Form

This sheet is similar to the one used at Sullivan Weather for recording incoming reports received on the backbone.  Like the logsheet above, stick and paper is used for maintaining continuity but documentation is archived electronically after the incident support activity is complete.

While not exactly per the report format in flow, this form resembles the screen used for entering information into the Local Storm Report (LSR) database.
