Winter WFO Determination

| Most field-based winter weather data for WFO MKX can be collected using the measurement methods, criteria and reporting procedures outlined in the Sullivan Committee’s Standard Winter Weather Reporting System. However in some instances, WFO MKX may require field data at specific times (Example: between the “waves” of two snowfalls), places (Example: in Jefferson County) or types (Example: snowfall totals greater than 6”) that do not fall within the Standard Winter Weather Reporting System. | ||||||
